World Series of Poker & GGPoker Launch Extensive 2021 Online International Schedule

As the world starts returning to some level of normalcy, the international poker community is gearing up for a big spring/summer poker season. The World Series of Poker (WSOP) and GGPoker have jointly announced an extensive schedule of online WSOP events, which is scheduled to kick off with the WSOP Super Circuit Online Series that starts on Saturday, May 1, 2021.

The WSOP also announced the scheduling of the WSOP Online 2021 International tournament, which is slated to start on Sunday, Aug 1. All of these events open to international players will be hosted on the GGPoker app while U.S. players will be able to access their respective tournaments through the WSOP.com online poker platform.

Here is a list of 2021 WSOP events, which will be hosted at GGPoker and WSOP.com:

• WSOP Super Circuit Online Series hosted by GGPoker - May 1 - May 30
  
• WSOP Online 2021 (for U.S. players) at WSOP.com - July 1 -Aug. 1
  
• WSOP Online 2021 at GGPoker (for International players) - Aug. 1 - Sept. 12
  
• WSOP Las Vegas “The Main Event” satellite tournaments - Aug. 1 - Oct. 1
  
• WSOP Winter Online Super Circuit at GGPoker - with Dates TBC
  

Things will be getting off to a big start when the whistle blows for the start of the $100 million guaranteed WSOP Super Circuit Online Series, which will be hosted on the GGPoker app. As stated above, the event will run through the month of May with a total of 18 WSOP Circuit gold rings being awarded to winners of all the tournament’s events.

Next up will be the record-breaking WSOP Online 2021 Series with 33 WSOP Bracelets being awarded for both American and International players during their respective tournaments. Players will note that last year's event saw a massive $27.5 million awarded in cash prizes.

For poker players looking for a chance to win a seat in the live World Series of Poker $10,000 No-Limit Hold’em World Championship (THE MAIN EVENT), both the WSOP.com sites and GGPoker app will be hosting a series of WSOP Las Vegas “Main Event” satellites.

Everything is scheduled to culminate with The Main Event to be held at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino. The event is tentatively scheduled to begin on November 4, 2021.

For people who might be new to the professional poker community, the WSOP main event has been held every year since 1970. In 50 years of tournament play, some of the biggest names in the poker world have survived fields of up to 8,000 players to take down the big cash prize and claim the name of the best poker player on the planet.
