Lali Tournier and Irene Albarran join PokerStars’ roster of ambassadors

PokerStars has announced that is has added two new ambassadors to its Team of Pro: Brazilian poker pro and streamer Lali Tournier, who is “an incredible ambassador for the thriving poker community in Brazil” and Spanish poker coach and professional player Irene ‘Frogy’ Albarrán, who has “lit up our screens as part of our commentary team in Spain, and both are fantastic role models”, according to Scott Goodall, Poker Commercial Director, at PokerStars.

On top of being a poker pro and streamer, Lali is also a member of top Brazilian eSports organization Furia, which is sponsored by PokerStars. Lali, who is a two-time World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP) champion, has had numerous live poker cashes in major tournament across the globe, and now has her sights set on the PokerStars Players No Limit Hold’em Championship (PSPC). “Thirteen years ago I started playing $0.25 Sit & Go’s on PokerStars, and I remember looking at the Team Pro page and would imagine my picture there. It was a very distant dream. But now, my dream has come true, and it is even better than I could wish for; being a Team Pro, joining my husband Rafa and one of my best friends, Akkari. Thanks, PokerStars! I am really happy to be part of the best poker platform”, commented Lali Tournier.

Irene, known as ‘Frogy’, is a respected poker coach and Twitch streamer and will join PokerStars as a member of the PokerStars commentary team in Spain. Her first ambassadorial duty will be commentating the PSPC and PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (PCA) events for the Spanish PokerStars community. “I have fulfilled one of my dreams; to be the voice of such a big poker community, alongside a great team who also feel like family, representing PokerStars. I feel very excited about everything that is to come. There are going to be many beautiful moments and being able to share these times with the community as well as the team is something that excites me a lot. The best is yet to come!”, she said.
